Dr. Lakeya Afolalu

Dr. Lakeya Afolalu is a language, literacy, and culture professor, a creative writer, and a TEDx speaker with a profound passion for education, the arts, and educational equity. Over her career, she has collaborated with youth, families, schools, and communities to advocate for students' diverse literacies and identities in school, community, and digital spaces.
